Asha Degree
Disappeared.
On February 14, 2000, 9-year-old Asha Degree vanished from Shelby, North Carolina. For unknown reasons, she left home between 4 and 5 AM and was last seen walking along a dark, rural highway during a storm. A year and a half later, a construction worker found her book bag over 20 miles from the spot she was last seen. Could the items inside offer key clues to solving her case? And does a new theory shed light on where Asha was headed and why she felt the need to sneak out?
Now, 24 years later, we explore recent developments in the case, including a crucial discovery that could lead to a breakthrough.
